Syn2Psy at the XVII Meeting of the Portuguese Society for Neuroscience, Coimbra

Syn2Psy students Orsolya Antal, Giuseppe Cammarata and Elisa Corti participated in the XVII Meeting of the Portuguese Society for Neuroscience, which was held on December 1-3 (2021) in Coimbra, Portugal.

Orsolya Antal (ESR1) presented a poster entitled “Cognitive behavioural deficits in a knock-in mouse model with a human schizophrenia-associated mutation in the CACNG2 gene” by Orsolya Antal, Renato Macedo, Nuno Beltrão, Ângela Inácio, Gladys Caldeira, João Peça, Célia Carvalho, Carlos Pato and Ana Luísa Carvalho.

Giuseppe Cammarata (ESR3) presented his latest work through a poster entitled “Neurodevelopmental effects of valproic acid exposure in human brain organoids” by Giuseppe Cammarata, Rafaela Oliveira, Catarina Seabra and João Peça.

And Elisa Corti (ESR7) presented a poster under the title “Fragile X Mental Retardation Protein mediates BDNF-induced increase of synaptic NMDA receptors content” by Elisa Corti, Paulo Pinheiro, Ramiro D. Almeida and Carlos B. Duarte.
