Laura Upton

I am  British and New Zealand dual citizen, who grew up in New Zealand and France, before moving to the University of Bristol to study pharmacology, followed by molecular neuroscience. I have just spent a year in New Zealand, during which I completed a genetics-focused internship. I am delighted to be back in Paris and to be pursuing this doctoral project which combines my love of genetics and neuroscience. The prospect of working on a disease model is particularly exciting, given the possibility that the research may result in a greater understanding of the disorder, and consequently more effective treatment for affected individuals further down the line.
