I am particularly  interested in studying the function of E\/I balance and how this is  disrupted in neuropsychiatric diseases. Understanding the implication of  both excitatory and inhibitory systems in cortical and subcortical  microcircuits could help us to unravel the mechanisms that underlie  higher brain cognitive functions.
